Pet Assistance League
Who are we?
PAL’s mission is to celebrate the human-animal bond. Toward that goal, we work hard to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals. We also support organizations and individuals who strive to maintain and strengthen that bond.

Our organization
PAL was founded in 1992 by Yolo County community members interested in community service, pets, and maintaining seniors’ quality of life. Originally, PAL focused on placement services for seniors looking for the right pet or to place pets they could no longer keep, arranging visits for seniors who enjoyed animals but could no longer keep a pet, and advocating for seniors who wanted to keep their pets when moving into a new residence. Over the years, PAL has restructured to focus on strengthening the human-animal bond among all community members.
PAL is a 501(c)(3) public charity that serves the Yolo County community in Northern California. EIN: 68-0315905.
